For nearly 20 years, Pearson-Wharton has dedicated herself to helping students maximize their learning, health and wellness and personal growth. With her help, the Fraternity has developed an intentional, positive approach to our work surrounding diversity, social justice, inclusion, healing and allyship, as well as provide support for our Black members and members of color.
“I am honored to partner with Alpha Gamma Delta on their efforts to build a more anti-racism sisterhood. The leadership and heart in the women of Alpha Gamma Delta to do this work will build a stronger sisterhood and ultimately a better world,” said Pearson-Wharton.
Dr. Stacey is a prolific speaker who seeks to bring healing and wholeness to communities as they tackle issues of race, racism, xenophobia, and bias. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Counselor Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She served the Governing Board of the American College Personnel Association as the Director of Equity and Inclusion where she used her expertise and experience to navigate complicated social justice issues.
In her podcast, Being the Dot, Dr. Stacey interviews guests as they discuss their lived experiences with race-battle fatigue, tokenism and other trials and triumphs of people of color in white spaces.
