Alumnae membership in Alpha Gamma Delta offers continued opportunities for leadership, service and long-lasting friendships.
ADOPT-A-CHAPTER PROGRAM Expand The Adopt-A-Chapter Program provides alumnae support to collegiate chapters that may not have an alumnae group nearby or could benefit from additional alumnae support. Through the program, alumnae groups are paired with collegiate chapters to provide the level of support their resources allow. If your group is interested in participating in the Adopt-A-Chapter program, please fill out the corresponding interest form below. An Alumnae Engagement Committee member will reach out to you with more information soon.Program Details:
- Alumnae groups do not need to be near the collegiate chapter.
- Groups communicate once per academic term but are encouraged to communicate more frequently if possible.
- Pairings last a minimum of one year but can continue as long as the group can support the match.
Examples of current Adopt-A-Chapter match activities include:
- Writing notes of encouragement each academic term
- Purchasing an item from the collegiate chapter’s wish list once a year
- Supporting collegiate fundraising events throughout the year
- Delivering goodie bags or treats to the collegiate chapter
- Hosting annual virtual meetings for alumnae and collegians to connect
Contact the Alumnae Engagement Committee for more information.

BOOK CLUB ExpandThe Alpha Gam Book Club is an opportunity to enjoy books, build community and explore themes relevant and important to modern women. Over the course of the year, we’ll read, talk, learn and join together with sisters locally and virtually. Each month’s book will address a common theme for women-family, friendship, our values and our challenges. By exploring these themes, we’ll get to know ourselves and our sisters, and we’ll have a fun connecting along the way! Each month a new book is posted to the Facebook group where you can participate in discussions online. Click here to join the Alpha Gam Book Club.
JUNIOR CIRCLE ExpandThe Junior Circle program is designed to be an easy, casual and fun way for young alumnae to enjoy the benefits of sisterhood without the structure associated with an alumnae chapter/club. Junior Circle provides an opportunity for further sisterhood, networking and participation in a relaxed setting. As life beyond college can seem overwhelming and intimidating at first, sisters transitioning from collegiate life into the life-long alumnae experience are especially welcome. For information on Junior Circles in your area, contact us here.
PEARL SISTERS Expand Support an extraordinary group of Alpha Gamma Deltas by becoming a Pearl Sister! For future extension efforts, we will be looking for alumnae to become Pearl Sisters. We will match each new member up with an alumna volunteer who will encourage her throughout her new member period. Pearl Sisters do not need to live close to the provisional chapter in order to participate. This is a great opportunity to convey that an Alpha Gam sister is always close! For more information about current opportunities, click here. ROSE SISTERS Expand The Rose Sister Program is a virtual alumnae group created to reach out to Alpha Gamma Delta sisters who live in areas where no organized alumnae or collegiate groups exist. Rose Sisters live throughout the world and connect online through a Facebook page. The Rose Sisters plan several online activities to encourage participation and keep members connected to the Fraternity. Contact the Alumnae Engagement Committee for more information.
