Alpha Gamma Delta

Recruitment Information Form

Members from Beta Gamma

Members and non-members are encouraged to submit a Recruitment Information form for Potential New Members who embody our values. RIFs have replaced our previous Recommendation Form-also known as a “rec.” Upon completion, this form will be forwarded to the selected chapter. Recruitment Information Forms are not a requirement-nor do they guarantee membership-but they are beneficial to our chapters when filled out as completely as possible.

Please note: Online submissions are preferred; however, you may access the printable version here and mail it directly to the chapter.

While our chapters value and appreciate all submitted RIFs, PNMs with RIFs will not receive preferential treatment.

Does a RIF guarantee an invitation for membership? Expand

Membership selection is the privilege and responsibility of each collegiate chapter and is made at the local level.

Who can write a RIF? Expand

If you are a Potential New Member seeking someone to write a Recruitment Information Form on your behalf, you are encouraged to contact a collegiate or alumnae member of Alpha Gamma Delta who has known you for at least one year-or someone who knows you well, such as a close family friend or teacher. To find an alumnae chapter/club near you, use our chapter locator. Your local Panhellenic alumnae chapter may also be able to provide additional guidance on Information Forms.

When should a Recruitment Information Forms be submitted? Expand

Recruitment dates vary for each of our collegiate chapters. RIFs should be submitted prior to the start of primary recruitment and can be submitted no later than midnight prior to the first recruitment event. This gives chapter members enough time to learn about each potential new member. Please review recruitment dates and chapter recommendation mailing addresses and submit your RIF early enough to allow the chapter time for processing.

What if a potential new member has given me hard copies of her materials? Expand

Please note that electronic forms are preferred;however, you may access printable versions of the RIF and mail them directly to the chapter address. Please review recruitment dates and chapter recommendation mailing addresses.

If you would like to submit a digital RIF, ask for a digital copy of her materials. You can easily attach them to the online form. You can also scan the documents and upload straight from your computer. If you do not have additional materials from the PNM, complete the form with the information you have.

Can I submit a Recruitment Information Form for someone I don’t know? Expand

Yes! Our collegiate chapters welcome any information you can offer. There is an appropriate place on the form to indicate your relationship with the PNM and how long you have known her.

How will I know that my submission was received? Expand

Once your online RIF has been successfully submitted, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.

Who will receive the RIF I submit? Expand

It will be sent directly to the chapter you select from a dropdown menu. All RIFs are sent to the chapter’s Recruitment Team.
