TIPS FOR PHOTO SUBMISSION:
- Send original digital images (rather than images that have been texted or uploaded to Facebook or Instagram, as the quality of the picture is often not ideal for print publications).
- Make sure photos have adequate lighting and are not filtered.
- We love photos that show action, emotion and contain contextual content!
- Photos in which subjects are wearing bathing suits or questionable attire will not be used.
Because of the volume of submissions received and space constraints, it is possible your material may be edited, appear in a later issue or not be used.

Spot-a-Squirrel Submissions ExpandSubmit your photos below or use the hashtag #spotasquirrel on social media to share photos of squirrels you’ve found in unexpected places. Selected photos will appear in the Spot a Squirrel section of the Quarterly.
For your safety, please do not attempt to take a photo with a live squirrel without professional supervision. 🙂

GUIDELINES FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS:
- Photos should be no larger than 2MB and a resolution of 300dpi is preferable.
- Acceptable formats are jpeg and png.
- Send original digital images that are directly from your camera or downloaded on your computer.
- Do not edit photos in any way prior to submission (i.e. cropping, adding text, etc.)
- Do not embed/copy your photos into an email or MS Word document.
- Print photos are acceptable, though digital photos are preferred.
Submissions are due on the first business day in the months of September, November, February. Because of low activity during summer months, a summer report is no longer due. Because of the volume of submissions received and space constraints, it is possible your material may be edited or appear in a later issue.

Quarterly reports and corresponding photos should be submitted with the Circle of Excellence form by the submission dates below. Ask your Vice President-Marketing for more information. This is the most popular section of the magazine, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to let the rest of the Fraternity know about your chapter’s happenings.
GUIDELINES FOR REPORT SUBMISSIONS:
- 75-125 words
- Written in past tense, third-person
- Submit a high-resolution photo in jpg or png format
- Cover your chapter milestones:
- Recruitment or initiation numbers
- Philanthropic events held & money raised
- Awards & achievements (Fraternity, campus, Panhellenic, philanthropic, etc.)
- Events such as formals, sisterhood or alumnae gatherings, service, etc.
- Refer to the VISG for questions regarding writing style
TIPS FOR PHOTO SUBMISSION:
- If submitting photos taken with a phone, submit the original image (rather than images that have been texted, screenshot or downloaded from Facebook or Instagram) as the quality of the picture is often not ideal for print publications.
- Make sure photos have adequate lighting and are not filtered.
- We love photos that show action, emotion and contain contextual content!
- Photos showing dining tables with glassware that may be construed as alcoholic beverages will not be used.
- Photos in which subjects are wearing bathing suits or questionable attire will not be used.
Because of the volume of submissions received, space constraints and quality requirements, it is possible your material may be edited, appear in a later issue or not be used.
