Alpha Gamma Delta

Alumnae Initiates

alumnae

The first recorded Alumna Initiation into Alpha Gamma Delta occurred at our Alpha Chapter in 1909, just five years after our founding. Since then, over 1100 women have been initiated into Alpha Gamma Delta as alumnae members.

Any woman who is not eligible to join a collegiate chapter and does not hold membership in another National Panhellenic Conference organization, Pan-Hellenic Council organization, or multi-cultural women’s Greek letter organization, and is of good character and achievement is eligible for membership in Alpha Gamma Delta. By becoming an alumna initiate of Alpha Gamma Delta, she will have full access to sisterhood, resources and a lifetime of Purpose.

A woman interested in becoming an alumna initiate must have a connection with a current member of Alpha Gamma Delta. To find a local alumnae chapter or club near you, click here.

Members of Alpha Gamma Delta who are in Good Standing are able to nominate women they believe would make wonderful sisters by contacting International Headquarters for an application form. Once approved, these new members can be initiated by a local collegiate chapter, during an installation of a new chapter, or at International Convention.
