Academic achievement is a priority in Alpha Gamma Delta. A new member must have a current grade point average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent to be initiated. Each member must work to maintain the chapter’s scholarship requirement of 2.9 to remain in Good Standing with the International Fraternity. Each chapter has an officer committed to the scholastic strength of its members. They encourage each member through programming and meetings to be their academic best!

MARGUERITE SHEPARD INITIATIVE

She graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She later became Alpha Gam’s first Grand Vice President then second Grand President.
