VOLUNTEERING

Alpha Gamma Delta could not be the organization it is today without the dedication of the many alumnae volunteers.

International Council is comprised of seven, long standing Alpha Gam volunteers and is the deciding body for the Fraternity. International Council appoints members interested in serving the Fraternity as Volunteer Service Team (VST). VST members span North America, providing assistance in many different areas within the Fraternity. They are supported by those volunteering at the local levels, including collegiate chapter advisors and alumnae group officers.

Volunteers provide valuable support to our collegiate chapters, alumnae chapters/clubs, Junior Circles and more. Inspired by our Purpose, volunteers play a tremendous role in the continuous growth and development for the ongoing success of the Fraternity.

Volunteer Service Team

The Volunteer Service Team serves a two-year term. The current biennium began June 1, 2025 and concludes May 31, 2027. The formal application process for this biennium has now closed.

While regular appointments occur prior to the start of each biennium, openings may arise throughout the term. When vacancies occur, mid-biennium appointments are made for the remainder of the current term.

Applications for mid-biennium consideration are accepted on a rolling basis. Interested members are encouraged to submit an application and will be contacted if a position becomes available that aligns with their interests and experience. Members interested in future service are encouraged to apply at any time to ensure we maintain a strong and diverse pool of leaders ready to serve.

ACADEMY FOR VST COMMITTEE MEMBERS Expand
