September 29 – October 6, 2026
We’ll start in Burlington, VT for an eight-day tour of New England, ending in Boston, MA. Mother Nature’s most dazzling performance unfolds in New England each fall, as its forests erupt in fiery shades of red, orange and gold. Meander past covered bridges, sip cider straight from the mill, and stroll through charming towns that feel pulled from a storybook. With crisp air, cozy flavors, and rich history around every corner, this is the season New England was made for. Grab a bowl of clam chowder and extend your stay in Boston to see more of the city.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can go on this trip? Expand
Our trips are open to all members of Alpha Gamma Delta.
We normally open the trip up to members as follows:
- First priority booking is open to members who have paid their annual $40 Alumnae Dues. It is entirely possible, due to the limited number of spaces available on trips, that the trip will sell out with this first group.
- After the priority booking period has expired, if we have any spots remaining, we will open the trip up to all members.
- Six months before the final booking deadline, we will open any remaining spots up to non Alpha Gam female friends or relatives of members going on the trip.
At this time, our trips are designed to be for women only. Male spouses, friends or relatives are not able to participate.
How much does the trip cost? Expand
All costs are explained on the EF Go Ahead Tours page for the trip linked above. (2026 and 2027 INFO COMING SOON!)
There are a lot of factors that determine the cost of the trip:
- Are you booking airfare on your own or through EF Go Ahead Tours?
- Are you wanting a single room or a double?
The basic cost of the trip is the same for everyone based on room occupancy (single vs. double). The varying factor is the cost of airfare.
Are there single rooms available? Expand
Yes! Each trip has a limited number of single rooms available. Once all the single rooms are sold out, members who book the trip individually will be assigned a roommate.
How can I find a roommate? Expand
You can either book the trip with a friend, securing a space for both of you, or you can be randomly assigned a roommate.
We do our best to match up roommates based on age, geographic location and chapter if possible. We always have at least one “Get To Know You” Zoom meeting before the trip.
What travel documents will I need? Expand
For all trip oversees, you will need a valid passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months from the time of the trip.
Starting in 2026, the new European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will require passport holders from 60 visa-exempt countries, including the U.S., to apply for approval to enter 30 European countries. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
