Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity is proud to introduce the new structure of the Volunteer Service Team. The Fraternity is excited to provide some of its most dedicated sisters-its volunteers--with this progressive new approach to the volunteer system.

The focus of the new Alpha Gamma Delta Volunteer Service Team, officially enacted in July 2007, is to provide smaller geographic communities (provinces) comprised of collegiate chapters and alumnae chapters and clubs and House Associations that will be assisted and guided by a comprehensive team of well-trained and empowered volunteers. This community focus provides mutually supportive and mutually beneficial relationships across the different groups and allows each local organization to be managed from a comprehensive and cohesive standpoint. In addition, the Fraternity is committed to providing engaging, relevant and ongoing training for volunteers, which will provide the education needed to enable these sisters to make more decisions and take more action on the community level.

The new Volunteer Service Team (VST) is organized to serve newly-created communities. A community is a collegiate chapter, its house association and its corresponding alumnae chapters and clubs. Each of these communities has resource specialists, in several different subject areas (e.g. finance, recruitment, member development).

Two to four communities, in close geographic proximity to each other, are combined into a province. There are 40 provinces. Each province is managed by a Province Director. The 40 provinces are grouped together into 10 areas, 4 provinces per area. Each area is managed by an Area Coordinator.

We welcome you to learn more about this exciting development by visiting the various resources located in this section of the Fraternity website.
