International Reunion Day 2009: Health and Vigor: The Prizes of our Purpose
Alpha Gams will reinforce our commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle through our celebration of IRD in April 2009 with the theme, Health and Vigor: The Prizes of our Purpose.This theme offers many possibilities for addressing the importance of healthy living for our members and their families.
- The IRD program could address any aspect of promoting a healthy lifestyle for women.
- Associated philanthropy projects could benefit diabetes education and research or any other health-related causes.
- An IRD-associated activity such as a bike trip or a day hike could be used to engage sisters in physical activity.
Use your imagination to plan a healthy and information-filled event! An award for the most creative use of the theme will be given. Information on planning your IRD celebration can be found in the Alumnae Leadership Manual on the Member Services section of the Fraternity website.
