Electronic Quarterly
The Alpha Gamma Delta Quarterly, published continuously since 1909, is excited to announce it is reducing its carbon footprint! Instead of producing four printed issues per year, starting in winter 2010, only two issues per year will be printed—spring and fall. The other two issues—winter and summer—will be delivered directly to your inbox. With a circulation of 65,000, the Quarterly staff estimates that over TWO MILLION pieces of paper will be saved per year by the Quarterly going green!
As a faithful reader of the Quarterly, I’m sure you have several questions about the transition from a printed magazine to electronic. Take a look at the various resources below!

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Why is the Quarterly going green?
Answer: After much deliberation and research, the Quarterly staff and International Council decided to make the winter and summer issues of the Quarterly electronic for several reasons. First of all, we are living in an electronic society—instead of writing letters, we send e-mails; instead of reading our news in the newspaper, many Alpha Gams read it online. In addition, the Fraternity is leading a charge to reduce our carbon footprint. By only printing two issues per year, we are leading the way for a sustainable future. We hope you’re excited that as an Alpha Gam Quarterly reader, you are helping us reduce our carbon footprint!
Question: When will the first electronic issue be delivered to my inbox?
Answer: The first electronic Quarterly will be delivered in February 2010, which is the Winter 2010 issue. The Spring 2010 Quarterly will be a printed issue, the Summer 2010 Quarterly will be an electronic issue and the Fall 2010 Quarterly will be a printed issue. This rotation will occur indefinitely.
Question: What does the electronic Quarterly look like?
Answer: The electronic Quarterly will look much like the printed version! You will be able to turn pages with a click of the mouse. Also, the electronic Quarterly provides flexibility so that you can watch videos, click links that will take you directly to websites and even have the opportunity to e-mail the magazine to a friend.
Question: I don’t have e-mail or internet access. How am I supposed to read the electronic Quarterly?
Answer: International Council and the Quarterly staff understand that not everyone can access the internet. If you’re interested in receiving the electronic issues in print, tell the Quarterly staff! We’re investigating the possibility of offering members the opportunity to subscribe to the printed version of the winter and summer Quarterly issues. Current plans are to only have the winter and summer issues only available electronically. If there are a substantial number of sisters expressing interest in printed version subscriptions of the winter and summer issues, consideration will be given to this request. To express interest in purchasing a printed subscription version of these issues, please contact quarterly@alphagammadelta.org or send a letter to International Headquarters.
Question: I’m not tech-savvy. How will I be able to navigate the electronic Quarterly?
Answer: We are confident that the electronic Quarterly is easy to use; however, the Quarterly staff has developed a brief tutorial that will help you navigate the electronic Quarterly. This tutorial will be delivered along with your magazine. It is also always be available on this website. Download the user guide.
Question: Where can I go with additional questions or comments?
Answer: E-mail quarterly@alphagammadelta.org or call 317-872-2655 with questions or comments. We are happy to help!
Question: How do I sign up for the electronic Quarterly?
Answer: Complete this form!
Question: How do I find my member number?
Answer: Your member number is on the mailing label on the back of your Quarterly magazine. Click here to see where your member number is located. *Note: The fall 2009 issue of the Quarterly did not list the member number correctly on the mailing label. If you cannot find your member number, simply e-mailing your full Fraternity name and initiating chapter should suffice. We're sorry for the inconvenience.*
