Alpha Gamma Delta

Alpha Gamma Delta is a proud member of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), an organization consisting of 26 Greek-letter social women's fraternities that promotes positive interaction among its groups.

The members of the National Panhellenic Conference work together in a bond of mutual respect to share information and strengthen the entire fraternity system. The National Panhellenic Conference is a conference body, which cannot transgress or supersede in any way the rights and powers of individual fraternities. There are certain statements, principles and standards of conduct, which have been approved by all member groups, known as Unanimous Agreements. These agreements cover the Panhellenic Compact, Standards of Ethical Conduct, College Panhellenics Agreement, Agreement on Questionnaires and Constitutions, Jurisdiction of a College Panhellenic Council, The Declaration for Freedom and the Panhellenic Creed. Each fraternity is responsible for enforcing within its membership adherence to these agreements. More information about the Unanimous Agreements is available from your chapter’s delegate to the College Panhellenic.

Collegiate and Alumnae Panhellenics are organized similarly to the National Panhellenic Conference, with delegates from each National Panhellenic Conference fraternity chapter located at that respective campus or community. Delegates of chapters meet to discuss mutual concerns, formulate recruitment procedures, uphold good scholarship and promote harmony and understanding in order to further the ideals of fraternity on campus. In addition, some campuses have Junior Panhellenics where a member from each group’s new member class is sent as a representative.
